Empresarialidad en la Región de Coquimbo-Chile

Los estudios de dinámica empresarial toman en cuenta variables bastante similares relacionadas con barreras de entrada, concentración, crecimiento del mercado, rentabilidad, costos hundidos, entre otros. El modelo propuesto aquí también incluye variables macroeconómicas como el crecimiento sectorial del PIB, tasa de desempleo sectorial y tasa de interés. En este sentido, las hipótesis a analizar en este capítulo tienen que ver con el impacto que generan tanto el crecimiento económico, la tasa de interés y el desempleo como variables explicativas sobre la tasa de entrada y salida de empresas. Asimismo, interesa determinar de manera efectiva la tasa de supervivencia de las empresas. Otra hipótesis analizada se refiere a verificar si la tasa de salida de empresas es una variable explicativa de la tasa de entrada de empresas y viceversa.
